EVA FACIAL MOUSE is an application developed and promoted by CREA with the support of Fundación Vodafone España.

EVA FACIAL MOUSE is a free and open source application that allows users to access mobile device functions by tracking their face through the frontal camera. Using facial movements, the app enables users to control a pointer on the screen, similar to a mouse, providing direct access to various elements of the user interface.

Individuals with amputations, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), or other disabilities can benefit from this app.

However, there are some limitations due to restrictions on the Android platform:

• Most standard keyboards do not work with EVA; instead, a basic keyboard is provided and needs to be manually activated after installation.
• EVA does not work with most games.
• Browsers may have difficulty handling certain actions (we recommend using Google Chrome).
• Some applications like Maps, Earth, and Gallery have restrictions when used with EVA.
• EVA cannot be used simultaneously with other camera-based applications.
• Since it has not been tested with all devices on the market, issues may arise. If you encounter any problems with your device, please let us know.

EVA has been developed in collaboration with experts and users from ASPACE Confederation organizations in Spain, including ASPACE Asturias, ASPACE Barcelona, ASPACE Gipuzkoa, ASPACE Granada, APPC Tarragona, and AVAPACE. It has also undergone testing by CEAPAT, CRE (León), and ASPAYM Castilla y León.
